Introducing “Winslow and Ram,” a story about Marshfield’s gifts
Are we celebrating Christmas, the holidays, Hanukkah, or a winter break?
If you are from Marshfield, Massachusetts it would be hard to escape the Fall 2014 debate regarding the school system’s December calendar or a large flashing sign recently displayed by some employees in town.
Sadly, the debates have served to divide this beautiful, caring town. The regional media have seen us explain, complain, protest and counter protest. It’s time to set the record straight. Marshfield is a very active, spirited community with real heart. All year long that heart is put into action in a myriad of organizations here.
A reporter once asked us why there were so many wonderful initiatives in Marshfield. We think that they are contagious. The more people see good works being done, the more they realize that they too can make magic happen for some local individual or group.
At A Welcome Boost we like to remind all sides of these debates that there’s much more that unites us than divides us. Here is our gift to you.
May you have a joyful Christmas, happy holidays and a peaceful, prosperous and healthy new year!
Our story “Winslow and Ram” is dedicated to all the volunteers in town who care for one another so well all year through.
Thank you, friends and neighbors!
